*GATHERING PRAYER

God of Grace, we thank you for the opportunity to follow Jesus. As others have made him known to us, help us to have the courage to point him out to those we meet. He has invited us to stay with him, yet often we cannot find the time to be in his presence. Make us aware again of his amazing power to bring life, hope and peace, even to us.  In the name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.

*PASSING THE PEACE

GodÕs peace is given to those who practice their faith.

We rejoice in GodÕs peace, realizing at the same time we must work for peace and justice with and for all.

Let us be at peace with God and one another as we honor God with our love for all God created.

(All are invited to greet others with handshakes or hugs while saying to them "The peace of Christ be with you" and responding "and also with you.")
