That they may all be one.

Angel Tree Project

Our Mission and Outreach Committee helps in many ways, both at home and abroad.  During the Christmas season they have worked with other community groups in the Angel Tree Project to provide an uplift to various people in need, especially so that children may experience generosity and care.

Quilts for Homme

An intergenerational group gathered in the lower level of the church on several days in June to make quilts for the youth at Homme Home.  Funding was provided by Thrivent.

TSUNAMI RELIEF

On Sunday, December 26 a massive 9.0 magnitude undersea earthquake unleashed deadly tsunamis that swept across south and south east Asia, leaving a path of death, destruction and despair.

Our denomination and partners throughout the region have mounted relief efforts which are being supported by funds we gave to One Great Hour of Sharing last spring.

Please pray for the people of Southern Asia, for the people who have lost their loved ones and belongings, the injured, and those who are rendered homelss.  Also pray for all those who are engaged in relief and rehabilitation work, particularly our partners, and stregnthen their hands by extending support.

Please give to the Asia Tsunami Relief Fund.  YOur gift of $108 provides the cost of a Family Shelter Kid, containing a family tent, ground sheet and plastice tarp.  A gift of any size will help.

You can give through our local church or directly to the United Church of Christ relief section:
